Ideation

1. Shape borrowing
The use of shape borrowing is very helpful as it can put new ideas in the designs of a shape that has already been created or have never been. This new and interesting design of a product will then have a good market sale as people may find it attractive and unique to display and to use in their home.

2. SCAMPER
Substitute: To replace part(s) of a product to make it look more interesting
Combine: To add up two or more different ideas into one product
Adapt: Unique features of other products
Modify/Minimize/Maximize: Modify the product to make it more unusual. Adjust the size so it fits perfectly.
Put to other use: Change the function of the product for more purposes
Eliminate: Remove certain unwanted features
Rearrange/Reverse: Rearrange parts and functions in the new design.
